# Error codes

The Active Engine handles errors on two levels:

- Errors returned by the ASPSPs
- Errors generated internally by the core

## Errors mapped from ASPSPs

Given the multiplicity of errors returned by the different gateways (and ASPSPs), Fabrick has standardized and mapped the errors according to the following table:

| Error Code          | HTTP Status | Description                                                                                        |
| ------------------- | ----------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| ACCESS_EXCEEDED     | 429         | The maximum limit of UNATTENDED requests (balances or transactions) to the ASPSP has been exceeded |
| CERTIFICATE_ERROR   | 401         | Certificate not configured correctly                                                               |
| SIGNATURE_ERROR     | 401         | Error related to the certificate configuration                                                     |
| FORMAT_ERROR        | 400         | The request does not have the correct or expected format                                           |
| PARAMETER_ERROR     | 400         | Incorrect or missing parameter in the request                                                      |
| SERVICE_ERROR       | 400         | Generic error                                                                                      |
| CONSENT_EXPIRED     | 401         | The consent has expired and it is not possible to access ASPSP resources                           |
| CONSENT_ERROR       | 400         | The consent is not valid to access the indicated resource                                          |
| TOKEN_EXPIRED       | 401         | Error during the consent creation phase                                                            |
| TOKEN_ERROR         | 401         | Error during the consent creation phase                                                            |
| CREDENTIALS_INVALID | 401         | Invalid credentials during the consent phase                                                       |
| RESOURCE_UNKNOWN    | 404         | Resource does not exist                                                                            |
| RESOURCE_ERROR      | 400         | Error while retrieving the resource                                                                |
| ACCOUNT_CLOSED      | 404         | The account is closed                                                                              |

| AGT000 | BAD_REQUEST                     | Request error, check the syntax   |
| AGT001 | REMOTE_SERVICE_FAILURE          | Generic remote service error      |
| AGT002 | RESOURCE_CREATION_FAILURE       | Unable to create the resource     |
| AGT003 | RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND              | Resource not found                |
| AGT004 | RESOURCE_ACCESS_FAILURE         | Unable to access the resource     |
| AGT005 | RESOURCE_UPDATE_FAILURE         | Unable to update the resource     |
| AGT006 | RESOURCE_DELETE_FAILURE         | Unable to delete the resource     |
| AGT007 | INTERNAL_FAILURE                | Generic internal error            |
| AGT008 | API_NOT_FOUND                   | Invalid or non-existent endpoint  |
| AGT009 | UNAUTHORISED                    | Unauthorized access               |
| AGT010 | USER_ALREADY_PRESENT            | User already exists               |
| AGT011 | EQUAL_IBANS                     | Debtor and creditor IBAN coincide |
| AGT012 | INVALID_DESCRIPTION             | Invalid description               |
| AGT013 | DEBTOR_NOT_FOUND                | Debtor not found                  |
| AGT014 | INVALID_IBAN                    | Invalid IBAN                      |
| AGT015 | INVALID_EXECUTION_DATE          | Invalid execution date            |
| AGT016 | PAYMENT_NOT_FOUND               | Payment not found                 |
| AGT017 | IBAN_BLACKLISTED                | One of the IBANs is blacklisted   |
| AGT018 | CONSENT_TYPE_NOT_SUPPORTED      | Consent type not supported        |
| AGT019 | VALIDITY_DAYS_CONSENT_NOT_VALID | Consent validity days not valid   |

# Workflow Errors

| Error Code            | Description                                                    |
| --------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| EMPTY_ACCOUNTS_LIST   | No account retrieved from the bank                             |
| CONSENT_NOT_VALID     | The consent phase has not been completed or was not successful |
| MAX_ATTEMPTS_EXCEEDED | Polling ended before the user's confirmation/authorization     |
