Introduction

Fabrick's Equity Crowdfunding Portals solution, provided by Banca Sella, is an advanced platform designed to provide operational support for online equity crowdfunding portals, in compliance with Italian regulations (CONSOB Regulation for the raising of risk capital through online portals, OPT-IN method).

This platform offers an API that enables direct integration between the crowdfunding portal backend and the Fabrick system, facilitating the complete management of the lifecycle of fundraising campaigns, investors, and financial transactions.

Key Actors

  • Equity Crowdfunding Portal: System orchestrator, manages operational flow and interacts with APIs to integrate features into its website.
  • Investors: Registered users who subscribe to investment orders in campaigns, in accordance with CONSOB requirements.
  • Companies: Registered partners who raise funds through campaigns and receive the capital raised.

  • Campaign Management: Creation, opening, updating, closing, and finalization of fundraising campaigns, with control over minimum and maximum targets, closing dates, and success fees.
  • Investor Management: Registration and updating of investor data, distinguishing between individuals and legal entities.
  • Order Management: Creation and management of investment orders, with status tracking (pending, failed, canceled) and management of associated payments.

Integration

To integrate the solution, the portal must be onboarded on the Fabrick platform and have a unique identifier (portalId). Integration takes place via RESTful API calls, which allow campaigns, investors, orders, and payments to be managed securely and scalably.
